Sneha + Ronak: Sindhi Gujarati wedding in Dubai
Manish found us while looking for photographer for his sister Sneha’s Sindhi Gujarati wedding in Dubai. Our conversation got started as Manish was planning to have us for two days. As our conversations progressed, we knew that we have to be on board as we could tell that Manish is a wonderful human being. From a two day wedding coverage, we were hired for four days of coverage. As we met Sneha, Ronak, Ekta, Manish and the whole family, the smiles on our face kept on getting bigger and bigger; we were in good company; the kind of families we love to work with.
Sneha and Ronak’s four day Sindhi-Gujarati wedding in Dubai was simply extra ordinary and what beautiful souls both Sneha and Ronak are! They were all ears to our ideas, sometimes silly, sometimes crazy, & sometimes bollywoody. Even though Sneha’s has been named in ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ list, we were amazed to see how much rooted she is. You will know when you look at the photographs. Ronak & Manish made sure that we are taken good care of; & fed well. 🙂
I think Sindhi-Gujarati weddings are turning out to be our most favorite weddings to document simply because of the people; the love, the emotion, the energy, the dancing, the connection that we witnessed in those four days was heavenly. During post haldi ceremony, we could not fail to observe that Sneha’s dad Rajesh ji, knew names of all relatives and their family members (grand dads, dads, kids, grand kids, grand grand kids). This can only happen when you stay connected with your family, extended family, and you stay connected to your roots. We were moved, & inspired.
All the events were amazingly executed by Rachna’s team (BAQAA Glamour Wedding & Events). We got a chance to catch up with Rachna over multiple days and we were amazed how humble and down to earth she is. 30+ years of industry experience and she still have the zeal, curiosity, positivity and motivation of youngster. She is definitely someone to take inspiration from.
A lot of times we get asked the question, why weddings? Simply because we get a chance to meet people & families like Sneha, Ronak, Manish, Rachna that inspire us to be a better human being, & be better at our art, craft and business side.
