SNEAK PEAK: Pavneet + Saminder
Pavneet and Saminder were in USA when their wedding date got fixed and their search for wedding photographer began. Their close friend, an amazing photographer and even better human being ‘Harnav Bir Singh’ highly recommended Shutterink to Samy. That is how we got an opportunity to interact and later meet both Samy and Pavneet. It is difficult to explain in words how thankful we are, that we got an chance to know them, to know the family and to be able to cover their wedding through our vision. Along with the fact that this was our first sikh wedding this year, we were pretty excited about it as well.
Samy and Pavneet hosted four days of wedding celebrations, starting with mehndi and sangeet ceremonies at each side, followed by ring ceremony, which was then followed by baraat and reception and finally followed by anand karaj. All four days passed like a whisker. Shooting the mehndi ceremony at Pavneet’s house in Moga and the leg pulling of poor mehndi guy, staying with the family in Jalandhar, having awesome paranthas at Samy’s home, having water and water tank tantrums, the rounds of tea, the amazing display of bhangra, to putting biji into a cool pose, to observing the subtle emotions on Pavneet’s father face when he hugged biji, and so many more, we had so many stories to share. There was so much love and care around that we were floored.
